CMAP's Accomplishments

- Established in February, 2002 as 501(c)3 Non Profit Corporation.
- MedBank, a prescription assistance program, was started in June 2002.
- In 6 years, $14.3 million in free pharmaceuticals were dispensed to some 3,149 people.
- February 4, 2003, the Camden County clinic site was opened and named in honor of Henri C. Woodman.
- The Henri C Woodman Clinic was expanded to Brunswick in May 2003.
- In 5 years, 1,993 uninsured individuals were served with a total of 10,769 patient visits.
- Since the clinics opened nearly 100% of our patients received Chronic Disease Management Services.
- In November 2004, Governor Sonny Perdue commended CMAP for being a pilot program for the Georgia Healthcare Coverage Project.
- In 2003, the Georgia Rural Health Association designated CMAP as its Outstanding Rural Health Agency for 2003.
- April 16, 2008, CMAP received the Joseph D. Greene Community Service Award from the Health Care Georgia Foundation in Atlanta, GA.
- CMAP maintains approximately 80 Volunteer Physicians and 40 Volunteer Nurses, 3 Volunteer Pharmacists and 60 Administration Volunteers.
- November 12, 2008 opened a newly renovated facility to accommodate expansion of the Henri C. Woodman Clinic in Brunswick GA to include 5 exams rooms, 1 vision exam room and 3 dental operatories. New facility also includes MedBank enrollment office and medication dispensary.
- May 1, 2009 moved into Dr. Robert Wilson's medical building in Kingsland GA. This facility has 5 exam rooms and ample space to allow several dental operatories to be installed in the future.
