    Q: What does it cost?
    A. The care you receive from the volunteer health care professional will be provided at no charge to you. However, you may be billed for laboratory procedures or pharmaceuticals.

    Q: Are dependents eligible?
A: Children under 18 are not eligible since Georgia provides healthcare access either through Medicaid or through PeachCare.

Q: Do I need an appointment?
A: Yes. Latecomers will be rescheduled depending on provider availability. If you need to cancel, please call in advance so other patients can be scheduled.

Q: Do I need an appointment to determine my eligibility?
A: Yes. You'll need to bring proof of income and all medications you currently take. Also, bring any medical information that will be helpful for your appointment with the CMAP nurse. This includes information on former surgeries, allergies, etc.

    Q: Are pharmaceuticals covered?
A: Most of the time. This depends on income. Your drugs are covered under various plans such as Georgia Partnership for Caring, Health Department or others. However, the application process takes some time. You may still have to pay for some prescriptions. CMAP also partners with other agencies to make sure we find the right service at the right time.
