    GIVING AND GETTING INVOLVED

"Inside each of us is a sense of decency and goodness and if we listen to it and act on it, we will give the world much of that which the world most needs. It is not difficult but it takes courage to listen to your goodness and act on it." - Pablo Casals

After food, clothing and shelter needs are met, few things in life are more essential than access to quality healthcare. Yet, with the cost of care and insurance escalating much faster than average incomes, many working familes find themselves unable to afford routine primary care, treatment of serious chronic illnesses, or prescription medications.

CMAP's growth was made possible by extraordinary commitments of time and talent, as well as generous financial support from many individuals, local businesses, churches and foundations. Yet crucial priorities remain. The demand for CMAP's services has grown so quickly that it needs to expand its capacity to help patients. Evidence of the need rests in the reality that in Camden, Glynn and McIntosh counties there are some 24,000 uninsured residents - CMAP now serves just 1,500 of these folks. We need to expand our clinic operations, purchase medical equipment, and continue funding our operation. While our program depends on dedicated volunteers, a small expert staff is essential to the success of the program. Your financial support will help CMAP serve more people with ever increasing demands.

Your support means coastal Georgians without health insurance will have a medical home and access to medications.

Please act now and act generously. Your investment in CMAP is tax deductible.
